I've been strolling down memory lane this week and so much has come flooding back.
It all began with a request for a NinjaTurtle cake, which took me right back to when my children were small and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle themed cakes were the latest 'must have' for boy's birthdays. This got me thinking about all the other children's cakes I have made in the past and, boy, there's a fair few of them! You can view a selection of them here on the website.
Then I was asked if I would take a stall at a local school summer fair and I was immediately transported back to the days when I used to run the cake stall at the same school at the same summer fair, ably assisted by my parents, when my own children attended the school. This was always a very popular stall and everything would always sell out very quickly. In those days we would sell cakes donated by parents of children at the school but the format has changed a bit since then and this year I will be selling a selection of my own creations.
If you are interested in coming along and supporting the school then head along to Mount Stewart School, Mount Stewart Avenue, Kenton, HA3 0JX on Saturday 21st July 2018. Don't forget to look me up as I will be selling cakes at DISCOUNTED PRICES on the day, for the one day only, so this is your chance to grab a great bargain. Doors open at 11.00 am.
Look forward to seeing you there!
Sharing the cake love!
